We are making a little transition to the Sugar Photography blog. Little Household + Sugar have so much in common and it makes sense for the two to work together. You will see an intertwined love for family + photography over there with tips and discussions on how to capture your own family through photography. Please join us, and leave a comment. I'd love to hear from you. Also, please like the Sugar Photography facebook page with a simple click here.

Grandma + Grandpa | Peachtree City
Today we are flying to Atlanta to visit with Grandma, Grandpa, Madison + Reed for the week. Luke loves the airport/airplanes, so he is overly excited. We have a week of fun ahead and a few Sugar Photography shoots at the end of the week.

Snooze again
Our first trip to Snooze was New Year's Day. Since then we have gone by every Saturday hoping for a short wait. Last Saturday we were in luck with a "35-45 minute" wait. It never disappoints. Snooze is the best breakfast spot for me, great food + great vibe.

Camera Shy
I've been encouraging Ryan to expand his photography skills. He has a great eye, and it's also great for me to be photographed because it helps me understand others' insecurities. It seems people don't enjoy being photographed. Maybe it's because it feels unnatural to relax and be natural.
Scratch those feelings and GET PHOTOGRAPHED. It's actually fun to be playful in front of the camera once you let your guard down. Plus it can be a new family activity. Let everyone take a turn using the camera. You might be pleasantly surprised with your results.

Endive + Avocado
Below is an adaptation of Green Lemonade's Endive Appetizer with Toasty Sesame Seeds. I forgot to buy parsley, so here is my version.
ENDIVE + AVOCADO
Endive Leaves
1/2 Avocado cubed + tossed in olive oil, salt + pepper
Toasted sesame seeds [toast in skillet 5 minutes on medium]
Julienne spinach leaves
Enjoy.
